Which Truck Rack Should You Choose?

The type of truck rack you choose will depend on what you need it for. The truck bed extender is probably the most flexible type of rack in that it won’t raise your truck’s profile when in use. You can also put it up when you don’t need it. However, it won’t give you the extra storage of full truck racks, and it won’t be useful for a rooftop tent.

If you need to carry extra-long or heavier items such as ladders, or if you want to get a rooftop tent, then a full-size truck rack is going to be your best bet.
