Leveling kits are designed to raise the front of your truck to move the body further away from the axles. This increases your overall ground clearance and can make room for the addition of larger tires.
The following truck leveling kits are made by Enthuze:
Make sure to check the specific year of your truck before purchasing. Let's take a closer look at what exactly leveling kits are and what purpose they serve.
In some aspects, leveling kits are similar to lift kits. They do technically provide a lift for your truck to raise it above the axles. However, lift kits are more controversial among truck owners, and not everyone wants to invest in one. Leveling kits are a nice middle ground that gives you extra clearance by settling your truck into a balanced stance instead of the stock raked stance. A leveled stance also allows you to install larger tires or a snowplow.
Not all leveling kits are made equal. Most kits are designed for specific makes and models of trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps. It's actually better to buy a make and model-specific leveling kit versus universal kits as the former are far more quality than the latter.
Some different types of leveling kits are as follows:
The purpose of a leveling kit is to raise the front end of a truck so that it matches the stock height of the rear end, which ultimately gives you more ground clearance. Most completely stock trucks have a raked stance where the front is lower than the back by about two inches.
The different types of leveling kits work a bit differently. For example, strut extension kits are used on vehicles that have coilover struts on the front suspension. This description fits most midsize trucks and SUVs. In this type of kit, the spacers are placed at the bottom or top of the stock strut, which raises the suspension.
Torsion leveling kits are used on trucks that have torsion bar suspensions. These leveling kits replace the stock torsion bar keys to lift them on one side or the other.
If you have a truck or SUV with coil springs, then you'll need a coil spring space leveling kit. These add spacers to the bottom or top spring seats, which raises the vehicle's body away from the front axle. The main difference between this kit and a strut extension is that the space is added to the springs and not the struts.
Leveling kits are pretty easy to install and remove. They're arguably much easier to install than the average lift kit. You'll need some basic equipment to install a leveling kit, including jack stands, a floor jack, and a variety of hand tools to lift the front of your vehicle. Most DIY mechanics with a decent amount of wrenching experience should be able to install a leveling kit in their garage or driveway over the course of an afternoon. However, if you've never worked on your suspension before, it's probably best to leave the installation to a professional.
Leveling kits vary in price depending on the type of kit and the vehicle that it's for. However, they're relatively inexpensive compared to lift kits, for example. At Enthuze, we offer a Wrangler JL leveling kit for $299.99 on the high end. A leveling kit for a 2004 through 2022 F150 runs for $89.99 on the low end.
If you're new to the world of lifting your truck or SUV, you might be wondering whether a leveling kit or lift kit is better. Lift kits come in two different types--suspension lift or body lift. Body lifts use blocks and spaces to lift the truck's body higher onto the frame without altering the suspension. Your ground clearance will stay the same, but the additional body height allows for the installation of taller tires.

Suspension lifts are more complicated and involve replacing a large part of your suspension system in order to improve ground clearance and allow for taller tires. Suspension lifts provide a uniform height increase to improve off-road performance.
Leveling kits essentially offer an additional few inches of ground clearance as a byproduct to leveling the truck's stance. They can't really compare with a lift kit if that's what you're after. However, they are much more affordable, easier to install, and won't complicate your truck's stock suspension system.
